Abstract

The work analyzes the concept of communion between people and God in the context of the Church, affirming that it exists from eternity in the divine plan and was established by Jesus Christ through the Cross and Resurrection. The call to discipleship is researched, highlighting the fact that, during Jesus’ earthly life, it was addressed directly to the apostles, and now it is transmitted through the Word and the mysteries of the Church. The present study brings a deep perspective on Pauline theology and teachings on the Body of Christ, emphasizing the intimate relations hip and participation of Christians in the life of Jesus through the Mysteries of the Church.
