Church Mission and Deification

Abstract

This article emphasis that the mission of the Church either the work as extra muros Ecclesia and as intra muros Ecclesia, similar to Two rivers that poured into one oasis. The goal of the Church is to bring the man to be a New Creation, in other words to give the man all the needs to reach Deification by the Holy Grace that works in the Church through the Sacraments. Saints and theologians understand that man’s goal is Deification, in other words: To be a new creation in Christ. And this can possibly be obtained through the deifying work of the Holy Spirit that we receive in Baptism, this Holy Grace illuminate the man, change him to a new creature with a new holy abilities that gives him the opportunity to receive Deification if he wants. Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance and Anointing of the sick are the Church Sacraments that works towards the inner members.
