Abstract

Christian Eschatology. The Centrality of the Person of Jesus Christ in Eschatology. The present study presents Christian eschatology, emphasizing, at the same time, the centrality of the Person of Jesus Christ in eschatology. It does so with special reference to the theology of Father Dumitru Stăniloae, as he is one of the greatest Orthodox theologians of the 20th century, who deepened theology in the light of Holy Scripture and in the spirit of the Church Fathers, but also taking into account the interrogations of the contemporary world, establishing, at the same time, a balance between triadology, Christology and eschatology.
